  Delicious homemade food, the papaya salad was wonderful!  Highly recommend if you are looking for authentic Thai food.  Restaurant is very small so we grabbed it to go.

  Yummy!  Great little place. A few table. One hard working woman putting together fresh hand made food your your pallet.
  
  Had a papaya salad. You can order it as spicy as you want. There are peanuts and sprouts etc. nice. Had a pumpkin chicken curry dish. Wow.  Nice. Flavor abounds with each bite. There are also carrots in this. As well as a wild rice.
  
  Then spring rolls. Fresh!

  This was one of the cheaper and more flavorful meals I had on Big Island. The vegetables are plentiful, service is friendly, and the price is right.
  
  I had the green curry. It was chalked full of fresh broccoli, carrots, zucchini, cabbage, tofu, and khaffir lime leaves. The portion was large enough to share with another person. The rice was mixed grains with an excellent texture. My husband had the massamun curry with chicken, potatoes, and carrots. It wasn't the best he'd ever had, but it was pretty tasty.
  
  We were the only people there since we arrived right when they opened. We were served promptly and everything came out piping hot and freshly cooked. I would return for a filling, healthy meal.

  I am on a 10 day vacation with my boyfriend in Hawaii and we tried Somsamai Styles Restaurant for lunch. We ordered chicken pad thai and Tom yum soup. Both were absolutely fabulous!! I have had both dishes a million times and they were the best I have ever had. If you are looking for completely authentic Thai food, eating here is a must!!

  Have eaten at over 350 restaurants in the past 4 years, more than 25 Thai restaurants, I only write 5 star reviews. This is the best Thai food we've eaten and it is lovingly prepared by a one woman kitchen/ restaurant.  So many other 5 star reviews on Yelp, so I may not be adding much.
  
  My wife and daughter have eaten here twice, three years apart and have tried half of the items on the menu...spectacularly fresh ingredients, balanced flavors, the restaurant is clean, clean, clean. Good size portions and very fair prices...cash only, and only open 4 days a week. Do not miss this while going to the Farmers' Market...
